According to Pew Research, as of April 1, 2015, just over one-in-ten American adults access the internet only over their phones. Combine this fact with the definition of digital literacy referred to in WIOA, “the skills associated with using technology to enable users to find, evaluate, organize, create, and communicate information,” and the importance of making our content available on mobile devices can no longer be ignored. In this workshop, participants will learn about some free tools that are easy to use to take the content you already have and make it mobile friendly. These tools include Weebly, Padlet, Vocaroo, Google Forms, and QR Codes. By the end of the session, you will have made your content mobile friendly using at least one of these tools.
